Unsolicited review copies can be sent to me. However, due to the size of my pile of unread books, I cannot guarantee that I will be able to review them promptly—or at all—since they compete with the great masterpieces of world literature. I only read printed books, not eBooks. And I don’t read poetry, crime novels, thrillers, or science fiction. It’s generally a good idea to send me an email first with some brief information about the book.
I don’t read books from self-publishers, since in 99% of cases the genre alone doesn’t suit my taste. My short life isn’t even long enough to read all the excellently edited, perfectly bound, beautifully designed, exquisite, handpicked prestige books from premium publishers. However, if you happen to arrive here in a time machine from the past and your name is Balzac, Dumas, or Maupassant—or if you happen to know them—then I’ll gladly read your book even if it’s a smudged handwritten copy on a stained notepad or a wrinkled eBook edition.
