My book case at Philea's Blog
Petra von Philea’s blog has a wonderful series titled Bücherkoffer (“Book Suitcase”). In it, book lovers pack a suitcase filled with books for their travels. A great idea indeed, because traveling and literature have always complemented each other perfectly, inspiring one another. Whether it’s J.R.R. Tolkien, who wrote most of his works in the quiet of his study, or Alexandre Dumas, who traveled wildly through many countries — their books awaken the desire to explore the world. And so, on Philea’s blog, you’ll now find my four books that you can take with you on a journey — and, in turn, these books will take you on a journey of their own.
